Instructions:
1. Print template and trace onto card stock. Cut out.
2. Score or fold doors into the center, making sure they meet. Open back up.
3. Place left side of template onto the decorative paper. Trace, cut out and glue onto the left side of your card.
4. Stamp - Andrew (FS-8135-Inside Right) - Will (FS-8185-Inside Left) - Peter (FS-8143-Inside Center) - Fairy Nice (FS-3fn-Inside Center) on the inside of the card and color them using your colored markers.
5. Stamp - Floral Butterfly (FS-3fb), with silver ink on the inside of the card panels. (I masked off each panel so they would not overflow into the next panels.)
6. Stamp - Floral Butterfly (FS-3fb), with silver ink on outside right.
7. Use silver stamp pad direct to paper and apply around all edges and seams.
8. Set aside to let silver dry.
9. Cut 1 piece, 1-1/4” x 8-1/2” strip of cream stock.
10. Cut 1 piece, ½” strip of decorated stock.
11. Glue decorated strip onto the strip of cream stock, centered.
12. Fold finished strip around card, making just a little larger than card for easier sliding. I made sure that it was offset to the left.
13. Make a smaller template of the folded card. (Center panel only).
14. Trace onto rust card stock and cut out.
15. Use smaller template and trace onto cream stock, cut out about an 1/8” smaller.
16. Stamp - Jackie (FS-8139) onto the cream and color with markers.
17. Glue the smaller rust and cream parts together.
18. Take the folded strip, place around the card, and glue on the rust-cream panel to the top in the position you prefer.
19. Decorate Envelope to match card using Floral Butterfly (FS-3fb) and silver ink.
This is a wonderful card to collage as well. The sky is the limit as to what can be done. Have fun creating this delightful project.
